Hey-
I am pretty good with Excel, but I have a conditional formatting question that I can't find an answer to in the Help menu. I have a sheet for employee requisitions that looks like this:

req.jpg

What I want is when the Closed column is filled in (i.e., the req is closed), for the whole entry (all of row 4) to turn grey. I can make just this cell turn grey, but how do I conditionally format the rest of the row to change when that single cell changes?
TIA

Condition 1:
Formula is =$F3>0
format the color to grey

then copy that cell, highlight the row you want to cover, right click, Paste Special, Formats, that should do it for you.

That copies the conditional format for that cell, but that is not exactly what I want. What that does, for example, is that when the Hired name is filled in, that cell turns gray, even though the closed date is still blank. I want it all to stay white, until the Closed cell is filled in, and then the whole row turns grey.

Basically I want to conditionally format the whole row based on the value contained in that one cell (F4 in this case). Sorry if this is a confusing explanation.
